Worship Ministry

This ministry is composed of a group of talented, anointed and called servants whose desire is to glorify God with their talents and to expand His kingdom.
We exist to worship God… it’s what we were created to do. Our job as a Worship & Creative ministry is to have our finger on the pulse of culture, stay in tune with God and merge those two things together to deliver an experience every week. We are worshiping the most creative being the world has ever known… we believe our response should be just as innovative and outside of the box.
Below are some typical songs by our worship team members, you might hear at Bible Gospel Church during the services; The Worship Ministry Mission Statement
Our mission as the worship ministry at Bible Gospel Church is to lead others into all-out, uncompromised worship of God. Our primary purpose is to give God the glory, honor and praise that He deserves.

The Worship Ministry Vision Statement
We are a people learning to lead others into worship of God by living a life of faith, i.e. in calling, competence and character as we worship the Lord in humility, intimacy and passion.

Worship Team Guidelines

Guidelines and Requirements
Calling

Talent and Skill
Although we recognize the importance of a pure heart, the musician and vocalists also need to have enough skill so that they can follow the Holy Spirit. Musicians and vocalists should have open hearts to receive advice, correction, training, and should be committed to becoming proficiently skilled at their ministry. “Kenaniah the head Levite was in charge of the singing; that was his responsibility because he was skillful at it”. (1 Chronicles 15:22) One does not need to be a professional musician to worship the Lord, but God honors the discipline of additional practice and preparation. “Failing to prepare is preparing for failure.”

Commitment Attendance and Punctuality New Applicants and Waiting Periods If at any time, a member (including visual equipment operators, sound engineers, etc.) cannot attend a service, rehearsal, etc. they must notify the Worship Pastor in advance if at all possible so that proper adjustments can be made. * It is important to state that we intend for the above information to serve as a guideline, but we realize that exceptions will occur. These exceptions will be determined by the leadership of Bible Gospel Church. Lastly, open communication is of vital importance. If at any time a member is confused, discouraged, or unhappy with the way things may be happening at a given time, they are encouraged to speak with the Worship Leader/Pastor. The only way to deal with hurt feelings, resentment, confusion, etc. is to bring it out into the open so that the Lord can help us work through it as a team.
